The distinctive wire protector feature, a steel plate that is inside the connector, makes the pressure of the screw safer for the conductor. This feature is useful in situations when there are temporary disconnections of conductors or where it is not possible to control the clamp for a long time. This connector is also useful in places where there is periodical pressure that might break the conductor. The material of the conductor is pressed on a longer area and makes the connection safer.
