The optical USB 3.0 cable from LogiLink allows the bridging of up to 100 meters. Through the glass-fiber technology, the cable is particularly thin, elastic and provides USB 3.0 data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit / s. The USB 3.0 cable is compatible with most USB 3.0 and 2.0 devices. Since no current is transmitted over fiber, it may be necessary that the receiver unit is connected to an active USB hub or an external hard drive with its own power supply.
