This Full HD HDMI extender set (transmitter & receiver unit) not only transmits brilliant 1080p/60 Hz video signals over a network cable, but also forwards USB, audio and IR remote control (CEC) signals over the network cable. This allows you to control a DVD player with the remote control, for example. There are also two USB 2.0 interfaces on the front panel, which you can use to connect other peripheral devices such as a keyboard, mouse and USB storage media.
The transmitter and receiver units can be located up to 50 meters away in different rooms. A network cable with at least category 5e (Cat.5e upward compatible) is required. This set offers a special feature with the additional KVM functionality, which can be used for a variety of possibilities.
