Truck/Car CB Antenna.
Hi-performance mobile antenna for CB radios supplied with a steel harmonic cone-shaped rod to reduce the QSB effect. Steel buffer spring on the rod. High-efficiency coil made of trated copper, to improve the conductivity. The greater diameter of the coil wire allows better performances and anextremely high maximum power. With the use of appropriate center-of-the-roof (to be ordered separately)the antenna can be gutter-mounted or mirror-mounted. As far as installation is concerned, please refer to mounting instructions. The band width of the antenna is greater than the standard onefor CB transceivers (please see specifications). The antenna is preset at the factory, only in few casesit is necessary to lengthen or shorten the antenna for a better SWR value. The mounting base of the antenna is equipped with a waveguide that lights up when the antenna is passed through radiofrequency (RF). The base does not need to be powered, it automatically lights up when the radio is in transmission mode. This bright illumination is very useful as it shows if the antenna is working properly. Completely waterproof.
